COVID19 Measures

Club Operating Schedule

As we re-open the Club, our key focus is the safety of all members and staff within the centre. This will require a number of new process and procedures designed to ensure that everyone can enjoy exercising whilst observing social distancing and heightened cleaning regimes to take place. There are five main features of this approach:

  1. Booking of time slots for ALL activities (including the gym and swim sessions)

In order to regulate numbers using facilities at any one time and to avoid queuing when facilities are full, members will need to book time slots for all activities including the gym and pool as well as Group Exercise classes.

Each booking for the pool and gym will be for one hour. This includes your arrival, workout (including warm-up, main exercise and cool-down). Please leave immediately when your allotted time has expired. Your time will not be extended if you arrive late for your session.

  1. One way systems (where possible) through the building and carefully allocated WC facilities

When walking through the club please stay to the right hand side of the corridors and use the appropriate sanitising stations before entering and when leaving any exercise area.

Please go straight to the facility you wish to use, following all instructional signage of and maintaining your distance from others at all times. Please wash your hands at every opportunity and use the sanitiser that is available.

  1. Enhanced cleaning regimes for all facilities

After each bookable session in the gym, pool or studios, the facility will be closed to allow additional cleaning by staff. We ask members to help with this by wiping down all equipment with sanitiser before and after each use.

  1. Changing Facilities

Please arrive at the Club ready changed for your workout, or with your swim suit under your clothes, as changing rooms will NOT be available. Swimmers will be allowed access to the swim changing area to dry off and dress after their swim.

  1. Lockers

Lockers will not be available throughout the Club, so please bring as few belongings with you as possible, ideally one small bag only.

Gym

Dry side changing rooms will not be available so please be ready changed in your workout gear when you arrive at the Club and please bring your own sweat towel. Please make sure you clean down your exercise station, and any equipment you use e.g. dumbbells, before and after each use.

Should you need use of a toilet during your workout, please use the toilets in the gym corridor. On a strict one in, one out basis.

Pool

Please be ready changed in your swimming gear when you arrive at the Club. You will be able to remove and store your clothing on pool side using the benches provided and use the pre-swim showers to rinse off before your swim. Wet side changing rooms will be available for you to shower, dry and redress after your swim.

Please note the only toilet facility that will be available is the accessible toilet on poolside.

Studios (Group Exercise)

Dry side changing rooms will not be available so please be ready changed in your workout gear when you arrive at the Club and please bring your own sweat towel. Please make sure you clean down your exercise area, and any equipment you use before and after each use.
